Shampoo and Conditioners

Shampoos

ORS creamy aloe shampoo, Kerastase , Creme of Nature conditioning Shampoo

I am not very big on shampoos but the ones in the pics above are my favourites- they also get the job done . In time I will do a review of each shampoos listed . I normally dilute my Creme of Nature shampoo 1:4, so one part shampoo to four parts water and I wash my hair in four sections.Since I have began washing my hair in sections I have realised that the amount of shed hair has become less. Another reason for washing my hair in sections is that there is little or no tangles which is great as I do not have to invest any time in detangling my hair. For the Kerastase I tend to use a teeny tiney amount, sort of like the size of a dime. Its a very expensive shampoo and because I am so heavy handed when it comes to this product  I am have to be very conscientious of the amount that I use. The ORS Creamy Aloe Shampoo is my go to shampoo for clarifying my hair and removing product build up.

Conditioners

Let me just start off by saying the Joico Moisture Recovery Conditioner is God's gift to dry black hair . I know I said no reviews just yet but words are not enough to explain how much I love my Joico- Moisture Recovery Conditioner. For my weekly routine I tend to alternate between Joico and Kerastase. My Kerastase Conditioner is almost done and it pains my heart sigh.  I bought my Keraste conditioner in Loreal Saloon in Vienna over the Christmas after noticing how dry my hair was getting while  travelling Europe. After  remembering the product among the recommended product list for dry hair in Audrey's book the Science of Black Hair Care and realising that I was not familiar with the other hair products that I came across and I Could not understand the language to read the other product ingredients - Kerastase became the obvious choice. I bought my Joico- Moisture Recovery Conditioner  and Roux Porosity Conditioner from Amazon UK.  For the Creme of Nature, I brought it with me from Jamaica to the UK. The Creme of Nature Nourishing Conditioner is a pretty standard product to start off with when building a regimen. For cost-effectiveness this product can be amplified to get the same if not better results than using the more expensive conditioners.  For me whether my conditioner is cheap or expensive, I always amplify. I do this by adding coconut oil, organic honey, extra virgin olive oil or any other oil that I may have.
